HOUSE

I mean, I'm not sure why I'm surprised. It was the network that brought me the Original Series, "The Starter Wife" (sponsored by Ponds) and endless reruns of "Wings" (how you doin', Steven Weber?). But I would be remiss if I didn't call out my current obsession... HOUSE on USA Networks.

I get that it's an acquired series, I get it. But while other networks, which shall remain nameless, make me wait a week at a time for new episodes, USA is always there with an episode, or three, to entertain me. And since I've only just started watching the show, it's like an endless supply of new episodes, even if they are four seasons old.

My obsession has reached the point where I'm thisclose to ordering seasons 1-4 on DVD. I am obsessed with a weathered, sarcastic, older man in a position of power (okay, so some things never change).

Hugh Laurie... (i love you)...

Cameron... watch your back, b*tch. He's mine.

New Year, New Jams

I guess I'll be the first to post this year... it's been a while, and our blog should be on every one's resolution list. Just sayin.

Anywho, thinking back to 2008, some of the best things were the soundtracks that were with us the whole year. I'm talking about the "BG08" Cd's... "Army Pants & Flip-Flops," "Do You Need A Ride," "Definite Margaritas," to name a few monthly themes. Not only did they provide us with quality tunes throughout our day, but they also became something we looked forward to hearing...

My vote for Album of the Year includes: BG07 (which became the thematic for Miami - see vid below) and BG12 (which got me through work during the holidays)

Looking forward to this year's compilations!
